Eden Tait from SEQ Earthmovers has been a big fan of John Deere machinery for a long time, so when he heard RDO Equipment would be selling the John Deere E-Series excavators in Australia, he couldn’t wait to jump in the cab – and he wasn’t disappointed.
“I’ve been waiting patiently for years for them to arrive, so as soon as I could I jumped in one. I was beyond impressed, and haven’t looked back,” Eden says.
SEQ Earthmovers is an earthmoving equipment plant hire business based out of Brisbane. “These John Deere excavators are very underrated machines. People are still learning about them in Australia and waiting for others to try them out, but they’re definitely missing out. They’re one of the best mid-sized excavators I’ve seen in a while.
“Their cycle speed is insane. They’ve got good breakout power and they’re fast, so they’ve been a great addition to our fleet, especially for projects where we need to break through hard ground and rock breaking. The power and strength behind them are great.”

They’re my kind of people so we work well together,” Eden says. “I’ll be going through them again and adding more excavators to our fleet, too, when I can.”
