When John Deere designed their new Articulated Dump Trucks (ADTs), they spoke with the experts — equipment owners and operators just like you. They listened and responded with ground-level access to most service points, as well as onboard diagnostics that help keep the operator in the know and on the go. The result: boosted productivity and uptime, while keeping operating costs down.

John Deere Articulated Dump Truck Technology
John Deere’s new line of articulated dump trucks is the latest in construction technology. These trucks feature a powerful engine that delivers high torque at low speeds, making them ideal for hauling heavy loads. The chassis is designed for superior stability, even when fully loaded, and the cab provides a clear view of the load for safe and efficient operation. With their advanced engineering and superior craftsmanship, John Deere’s articulated dump trucks are the new standard in construction equipment.
Enhanced Safety Features
Features such as remote park-brake release, rollover protection, ground-level service, and auto horn help ensure that operators are out of harm’s way.
Three Drive Modes
Normal mode for everyday operation; Eco mode that, when conditions allow, increases fuel efficiency by managing engine power delivery as well as optimizing transmission response for those conditions; and Traction mode, which optimizes differential lock for maximum tractive effort in soft and slippery ground conditions.
Improved Diff-lock Performance
This provides a more accurate reading than ground-speed radar to confirm traction-boosting auto-differential lock engages when needed. Diff lock can be engaged on the fly when you are experiencing slipping. This feature is sure to improve safety and efficiency in your daily operation.
Automatic Rollover Protection
You can now set limits for the rear-chassis level when unloading with this feature. If the limit is exceeded, the dump body will not raise and a message will appear on the monitor instructing the operator to reposition the truck. This virtually removed the risk of rollover which can be dangerous to the operator and everyone working on-site.
