The RDO Apprenticeship/Traineeship Program is for Australian citizens who are passionate about Mechanical Technology, Parts Interpreting, Small Motors, Sales and Administration. We encourage people who are looking to start their careers in a supportive, reputable and strong John Deere business to participate in work experience if you are still at school, (even if it is during the school holidays) and taste a trade to see your suitability. One day is never the same! Come prepared and enthusiastic and you will learn with some of the most experienced Mechanical Technicians in both Agricultural and Construction and Parts Interpreters in the industry.
You will be provided with a structured apprenticeship or traineeship process, supported by Tafe training or a registered training organisation. This is your opportunity to show your commitment and be enthusiastic about learning whilst being paid to work and training, getting good practical skills and knowledge skills that we require and gain nationally-recognised qualifications along the way.
Walking into the Emerald branch, I automatically felt welcomed and appreciated. It’s really rewarding being able to provide our customers with services that provide our community with so much.
-Jess, Service Administration
I’d like to thank RDO Adelaide for nominating me, and the RDO team for supporting all the technicians coming up the last couple of days. It’s been a great opportunity to meet techs from all over the country and from different aspects of John Deere.
– Max, John Deere C&F Service Technician of the Year 2022, on attending the John Deere Technician Awards
RDO Darwin has been amazing for me as working here feels like a family environment and there are always opportunities for professional development in any area of employment. I definitely appreciate the career and I love the opportunity to meet interstate employees from all walks of life.
– Dhiraj Lal, Parts Interpreter
I have worked for RDO for 8 years in many different roles. Started as an Administrator, then onto Parts Interpreter and now Parts Manager running a team of 6. I enjoy the daily challenge that a busy spare parts department brings!
