330G Skid Steer Features
Best in class comfort, safety, and ease of operation
The 330G Skid Steer comfort offering includes a heated and air-conditioned pressurised cab designed to provide the best operator experience possible, keeping dust and noise out. Larger entryways with swing-out doors make it easier to get in, get comfortable, and get on with it. A rear window and removable top window come standard, with optional side windows (sliding, locking, removable). A wide and comfortable seat belt and pull-down adjustable lap bar, triple-interlock operator presence control system, ROPS/FOPS structure, and in-cab boom lockout (to secure loader before exiting seat) provide essential operator safety controls.
Deluxe instrumentation EMU comes standard, with operator selectable monitoring of key diagnostics, status, and configuration. Optional onboard grade-indication provides a real-time readout of cross-slope (roll of the machine) and mainfall slope (pitch of the machine) on the in-cab monitor, with absolute and relative values.
Safely operating under low light and inclement weather conditions is made possible with front and rear work lights, with the option to upgrade to a LED lighting package for additional cab-integrated side lights. Hazard warning lights and amber strobe light options are also available for additional safety on busy work sites.
Productivity and performance is in your reach
The John Deere 330G turbocharged diesel meets rigid emission standards, runs smooth, and packs plenty of power and torque. With a high-flow hydraulics option delivering 138 L/min at 3,450 psi, and John Deere heat-treated, chrome-plated polished cylinder rods made from hardened steel, achieve a rated operating capacity of 1,362 kg (tipping load 2,724 kg), and boom breakout force of 3,175 kg (with foundry bucket).
The patented John Deere vertical-lift boom offers more lift height and reach at the top of the lift path, for more stability and truck-loading ability. A height to hinge pin up to 3.35 m enables these machines to easily load tandem-axle dump trucks, feed mixers, and fill hoppers. You’ll also appreciate the additional reach to truck-bed height when handling pallets of heavy materials.
Electrohydraulic (EH) ISO-pattern joystick controls can be upgraded to a switchable ISO-H pattern, EH 4-way switchable controls, or additional ISO controls with programmable detents, giving you multiple options for customisable control of attachments and travel. The optional EH boom performance package will shorten cycle times and speed up production in repetitive boom applications, with bucket self-level up and down, Return to Dig, Return to Carry, and Boom Height Kickout. Return to Dig allows the operator to automatically set the bucket or other attachment to his/her designated ready-to-work position; Return to Carry allows the operator to use joystick detents to automatically reset the boom to a designated ready-to-carry position; Boom Height Kickout allows the operator to pre-select a specific boom height based on truck/hopper height and use joystick detents to automatically stop at a specific height.
Standard on the 330G, two-speed drivetrain delivers travel speeds up to 19.3 km/h, for rapid work cycles.
Limitless versatility with attachments for every job
Add any of the 100+ attachments available for the 330G and watch your productivity soar – increased auxiliary hydraulic flow and power enable the 330G to make the most of an even broader range of attachments.
Generous standard and optional high-flow auxiliary hydraulics let you effortlessly run powered attachments such as planetary augers, hydraulic hammers, and trenchers. Imagine the versatility of this powerful, compact machine for land clearing, landscaping, farm work, residential construction, and municipal works. For loading and earthmoving, choose from rock, multipurpose, construction, utility, tooth, grading-heel, and rollout buckets in varying widths and capacities.
Universal Quik-Tatchâ„¢ enables you to go from bucket, to trencher, to whatever, in just seconds, to accomplish more with one machine.
Built tough for uptime and ease of maintenance
The G-Series is loaded with time and money-saving features designed to deliver efficient operation and maximum uptime. Auxiliary hydraulic lines and wiring are routed through the boom where they’re protected from damage. Oil-bathed final-drive chains withstand the daily grind and almost never need adjustment. The 330G’s Yanmar 4-cylinder turbocharged fluid-efficient diesel with auto-idle standard and a generous 96.5 L fuel tank enables all-day operation.
The 330G’s unique Tri-Cool system resists debris buildup and employs large coolers for standout performance in severe, high-load conditions. Add a reversible fan in high-debris applications for quick core cleanout.
Owners of a John Deere fleet will appreciate the time and money-saving convenience of shared components between John Deere skid steers, track loaders, and compact excavators.
Onboard Grade Indication option
Available on the 330G and 332G, optional onboard grade-indication provides a real-time readout of cross-slope (roll of the machine) and mainfall slope (pitch of the machine) on the in-cab monitor:
- Reference absolute value, or machine relationship to an absolute flat plane, to easily grade a flat pad.
- Access relative value, or machine relationship to the existing grade, to make a steeper existing grade.
