If you haven’t heard of the term before, ‘remanufacturing’ is an industrial process that involves the complete disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repair or replacement and reassembly of components to restore them to a condition that meets or exceeds the original performance specifications.
The process of remanufacturing reduces waste, and conserves natural resources, while also providing cost-effective alternatives for customers.
John Deere run their own remanufacturing program, John Deere Reman, where they remanufacture major components such as engines, transmissions, axles and electronics to deliver the same quality, performance and reliability of new parts.
Over the past two years, John Deere Reman have focused heavily on quality and reducing failures on Starters and Alternators, strengthening their brand, market position and providing customers distinctive quality, differentiating them from the competition.
John Deere are proud to announce that, effective from January 1, 2023, all John Deere Reman Starters and Alternators sold to end-customers come with a standard two-year factory warranty at the same price.
For RDO Equipment customers, all parts and labour related to Reman products will be covered by this warranty when fitted by RDO Equipment service experts.
The two-year warranty is complimentary with no increase in pricing – just an increase in confidence in the products supported by two years of quality improvements.
